The PTO is selling Entertainment Books this year for our main fundraiser.  They will be sent home with each child the week of October 19th.  You may opt to purchase the book for $20 (they will retail after November 1st in stores for as much as $45), or you can return the book with your child to school.  If you opt to purchase the book, you may pay online (click “buy stuff” to the left) or return cash or a check with your child to their homebase teacher.  Please provide your child’s name and homebase room number with your check or book return so we can keep track of each book.

What is the Dorseyville Challenge?

The Dorseyville Challenge is an initiative of the PTA/PTO Council, which is made up of representatives from all of the Fox Chapel Area School District buildings, to place interactive technology in 50 core classrooms at the middle school level.

Hoop It Up was a great success!

The DMS PTO served refreshments. Between the games the PTO sponsored  a half court shot contest.  The winner received a $50 gift card to Dick’s Sporting Goods.  We also held a 50/50 raffle duringthe games, and raffled off two Steeler’s Champions hats generously donated by Dunhams and the Urso Family.
