Arts and Music Festival Volunteers Needed
The annual Arts and Music Festival is April 25th from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Davis Middle School! The PTO will be selling pizza, Chick-Fil-A chicken sandwiches, chips, sweet treats and beverages, as well as our 30th Anniversary glasses.
Please sign up below if you would like to volunteer to help with the concession stand/glass sale or if you would like to donate items. Students who need service hours are welcome to sign-up to help with the concession stand, as well.

Davis Middle School Career Day Volunteers Needed
The Davis Career Day is on the morning of March 22nd and we could use your help!
The college and career fair will be set up in the media center and we are looking for a parent volunteer or two to serve as an extra adult in that space. The time frame is 9:15 am to 12:00 pm. You are welcome to cover the entire time frame or split it with someone else.

The PTO is now accepting nominations for parent volunteers in the following roles for the 2019-2020 school year:
- Co-President (to serve as Co-President elect for 2019-2020 and President Elect for 2020-2021)
- Staff Appreciation Committee Members (help organize Staff Appreciation Luncheons [one in August and one in May] and two Parent/Teacher Conference Dinners)
- Community Outreach Committee Members (help organize the Fall Festival, Art Show, Socials)
- Fall Fundraiser Committee Members (help organize our annual fall fundraiser)

Principal’s Report – Tracey Deagle
- Updates:
- 8thgraders to visit Emerald Campus on 1/29.
- Crossing Borders Art Exhibit next week (January 22nd-25th). Will have artist reception, docents from Scioto, professionals will also speak on professions in art.
- 8thgrade students will have Career Day in spring. 7thGrade will have STEM Day. 6thGrade will have Community Day with professionals from local non-profits. Will learn about volunteer and professional opportunities.

- Updates—No report, reviewed budget
Committee Reports – Committee Leaders—nothing to report from present committee leader.

- Still looking for members join Staff Appreciation Committee (Staff Luncheons, Dinners) Soup Potluck on January 23rd and Luncheon for Teacher Appreciation Week in May. Alysce Craig has volunteered to join committee.
- Still looking for Community Outreach committee members for next year (Fall Festival, Art Show, Socials). Amy Starnes volunteered to join committee.
- Fall Fundraiser committee needed for next year—still need members. Tiffany deSilva brought up idea for “Dance-a-thon” type of fundraiser for the fall.

PTO Potluck Donations Needed
We could use your help…
The PTO is hosting a soup potluck dinner for the teachers and staff on Wednesday January 23rd at 3:10 pm in the Teachers’ Lounge before conferences begin.
Please consider donating an item to help nourish our teachers for the long day ahead. We are also looking for a few parent volunteers to help with set up, serving, and clean up.
