Davis PTO Give Back Week Project

Next week, November 12th through November 16th is Give Back Week at Davis MS. This is a week long effort by the students, staff, and parents to provide for various organizations in need. This year the PTO has chosen to assist with the Personal Pantries Program.
Dublin Bridges, Welcome Warehouse, and the Dublin Food Pantry have once again come together on behalf of Dublin students and families! They have installed Personal Care Pantries in every DCS school. Items that they hope to provide children in need include: soap, body wash, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, tooth brushes, lotion, healthy snacks, undergarments, and feminine hygiene products.

You can help by donating $10 for every student that you would like to assist for an entire school year. You can donate through the Dublin Bridges PayPal link by clicking HERE.

In addition, they are accepting new donated undergarments for boys and girls sizes k-12. This includes new socks and underwear which can be dropped off in the blue bin in the Davis office by the end of day on Friday November 16th.

Their goal is to be able to reach 1,000+ Dublin students through this program.

Thank you for your support!

Davis Fall Festival – Volunteers Needed

fall festival
Our second annual Fall Festival is coming up on October 25th from 4:30pm-6:30pm at Davis Middle School! There will be food, a carved pumpkin contest, tables for donation (including Cafe Thrift and the MoMM foundation), and activities for families. This year we also have an old fashioned apple press where students and families can learn how to make homemade apple cider.

The Student Council, along with high school volunteers, will be working to make this year’s festival fun for all but we could use a few parent volunteers, as well. Please sign up HERE (or link below), if you would like to help out.
