Chaperones are needed for the PTO Canteen next Friday, February 10th, from 2:45pm – 5:00pm.  We will need chaperones in the gym, the commons, and the photo booth.  Stations will rotate throughout the two hours.

6^th Grade Parents,

There is still time to register your student for the Shamrockin’ Dance Club.   This program offers many experiences for our group and has become a tradition for many families.  The lessons not only provide new or improved dance moves but also teaches social etiquette such as first impressions, eye contact, introductions, polite conversation and listening.  The ending party introduces party etiquette with polite mingling, table manners, and receiving line.  Traditional dance etiquette is also introduced.  Registration deadline is February 1.

We will need volunteers to assist the instructors during dance lessons and to oversee tables and dancers during the End of Club Party.   See Sign-Up Genius link below to help volunteer.

Hey SIXTH graders … are you ready for some fun?

Check out the Shamrockin’ Dance Club!

This is a special 6^th grade ONLY tradition at Davis and all Dublin middle schools!

For 4 evenings during the month of February and beginning of March, you’ll meet in the gym at either Karrer, Grizzell, Davis or Sells Middle School for really fun dance lessons – from classic dance steps to the newest group and line dances –with a professional dance instructor!  You will also learn dance etiquette and have a great time while doing it

After the 4 lessons are done, there is a Dance Party where you’ll get to show off your dance moves while having a Shamrockin’good time!

If you can’t go to a lesson at your school, you can easily make-up a class at another middle school.

Ask any 7^th or 8^th grader about the Shamrockin’ Dance Club and they’ll share stories of the awesome memories they have made!

SO…get your friends together to check out the 2017 Shamrockin’ Dance Club!

Registration:  Mid-January 2017

Timeframe:  Lessons start on February 13^th through March 9^th, 2017

Final Dance:  Sunday, March 12^th 1:30-4:00pm

Dublin Scioto High School is pleased to offer an interactive, multi-media hour-long presentation where parents can learn many different ways that children can get high without being detected.  This will be held in the Dublin Scioto library (2nd floor above the main office) at 7 p.m.tomorrow, Wednesday, December 7th.  The presenter will be our very own Tracey Miller, Director of Student Operations at Dublin City Schools.
