2025-26 Ann Simpson Davis Middle School PTO

The school is in need of a parent volunteer from 12-12:50 every other day to work with 4  8th grade students in Math.

The PTO wanted to say a big ‘THANK YOU’ to our parents who donated items for the OSU Star House during Davis’ Give Back Week.

We collected 16 backpacks, 34 containers of wipes, and 54 deodorants.

Thank you again for all you do for the school and the community.

This is a friendly reminder there will be a PTO meeting in the Media Center tomorrow (Wednesday) night at 7pm.

Please feel free to bring any donations for the OSU Star House to the meeting.

Hope you can make it!!

Don’t forget the PTO is collecting, backpacks (new or gently used), deodorant, and baby wipes this week for the OSU Star House (https://starhouse.ehe.osu.edu/).  Just drop them off at the front office or send them in with your student.

Parents can help organize the donations this Friday, Nov. 18th from 9:30 am – 11 am in the commons.

Thank you for helping this organization and giving back to the community.

Next week (Nov. 14-18) is Give Back Week at Davis MS.   This is a week long effort by the students, staff, and now parents to provide for various organizations in need.

This year the PTO has chosen to assist the OSU Star House.  The Star House is a drop-in center for homeless youth in Central Ohio.  Please visit their website (http://starhouse.ehe.osu.edu/) for more detailed information about this organization.

Next week the PTO will need your help collecting and organizing the items listed below.

• Backpacks (New or gently used)
• deodorant
• baby wipes

You can drop these items off at the front office (during school hours), or send the donations with your student, now thru Wednesday (Nov 16th).   The PTO will need parents to help organize items at the school on Friday (Nov. 18th).  Time to be determined.

This is a great opportunity for the students to see the parents making a difference in their community.

It’s time for the annual Davis Spaghetti Dinner on Friday, December 2nd!  Your help would be very much appreciated as many, many volunteers are needed to ensure this event is successful. The Spaghetti Dinner is the biggest fundraiser for Davis Athletics and a great community event for all the Davis families.

Attached is the order form. Please print, complete, include payment, and return to the Guidance Office NO LATER than NOVEMBER 18th.

A copy of this form will also be sent home with students TODAY.

Items are expected to be delivered to Davis before Winter Break. If the items are gifts for your student- please note that on the order form and we will make arrangements for you to pick-up the items.
