The PTO is trying something a little different this year. Instead of doing the school supply sale on walk-thru day in August, we will be selling school supply kits. These supply kits are a one-stop-shop for your kids’ supplies, very easy to order (online or paper copy) and helps you avoid long lines at a store. The kits are available for purchase from now through the end of this month (paper forms: May 27th, online orders: May 31st). The kits will only include items in the 6th, 7th, or 8th grade supply list, NOT electives (such as ELL, Reading Intervention, Tech Solutions, etc). Parents will need to purchase these elective items on their own. Spanish workbooks (used for 8th grade) will be available for purchase on walk-thru day.
There are two ways to order your child’s supply kit (Online or Paper Form w/check). We recommend online if possible. Order online at www.schoolsuppliesamericaonlineorders.com (scroll down and click Davis MS OH) or paper form (this was sent home with your child or you can download a paper form from the PTO website (dmspto.org – under Committees heading).
When you place your order, the school supplies (enclosed in a small cardboard box with your child’s name on it) will be delivered to the school, so there will be no need to carry a load of supplies to school since it will be conveniently delivered to the school. The kits will be available for pick-up on walk-thru day (August 19th). If the kit is not picked up on walk-thru day, it will be placed in your child’s homeroom class.
