Hello everyone,
Our next (and final for the year) Davis MS PTO meeting will be Wednesday May 18 at noon in the library media center. Please join us for the last PTO meeting of the school year – your attendance is important at this last meeting as we will be discussing committees for next year as well as some planning for funding expenses for the 2016-2017 school year. This meeting is a great time to attend if you want your voice heard on how PTO expenses are allocated!
Teacher Grant Requests Approved
I want to thank our PTO parents that attended our April PTO meeting, where we voted to unanimously approve the two teacher grant requests we received this year; one to purchase Scholastic Scope magazines for the 6th grade Language Arts teachers, and two to purchase new panel mats for the physical education department. We’re proud to be able to support these requests from the teachers!

Each year, Kroger resets their Community Rewards program and each person participating in the program has to reset where they want their Kroger rewards to be allocated. Please note that the accounts have been reset! Here is information on how to designate your beneficiary:

Dublin Scioto Lady Irish Volleyball camp
Please see the attached flyer for details and sign-up information about the Lady Irish Volleyball Camp, coming up June 13-15 at Dublin Scioto High School! The camp is open to all girls entering grades 6-8 as of the 2016-17 school year.
8th Grade Graduation Video
Attention 8th grade parents!
Davis PTO is putting together a video to be shown at graduation, and needs your gorgeous photos of your kids to include in the video. Here’s how to get photos to the PTO:
Electronically (preferred method):
– Email 3 photos (a baby photo, an elementary photo and a current photo) to dkphotographic@gmail.com.
– Include the full name of your student.
– Include a parent’s email address so the PTO can communicate with you if there are any questions/concerns.
If you prefer to send printed photos:
– Place 3 photos (a baby photo, an elementary photo and a current photo) in an envelope with your student’s full name on the envelope.
– Include a parent’s email address so the PTO can communicate with you if there are any questions/concerns.
– Drop them in the red box on the window ledge in the main office.
DEADLINE: Friday, May 20th
