2) Vote to approve the 2015-2016 Executive Committee

4) Treasurer’s presentation of the 2015-2016 budget, vote to approve the budget, review of current fundraising
5) Committee Updates – Spiritwear, School Store, Supply Sale, review of open committee leadership positions

Please join us for our first PTO meeting of the year on Wednesday September 16 at Noon.  We’ll be reviewing the PTO budget, fundraising status, committee status, and hearing from our Principal about important school updates.  The PTO meetings are a great opportunity to get informed about what’s going on at Davis.  Please join us to kickoff the 2015-2016 PTO year!

Just a reminder that Fall Spiritwear Sale orders are due next Friday, September 11th.

The Scioto Volleyball Boosters have worked with Which Wich to schedule a fundraising night to support the girls volleyball program.  The attached flyer should be presented on Thursday, September 10 and a percentage of sales will be returned to the team boosters.  Scioto plays at home that evening vs Hilliard Darby so stop in at Which Wich on your way to the game!

We have selected a World’s Finest Chocolate Sale for this year’s school-wide fundraiser.  Students are required to have parent/guardian signed permission slips before they can bring home chocolate.  A few other important details:

• The chocolate sale ends Tuesday, September 8^th!
• There will be even more prizes as we wrap up our school wide fundraiser.  Thank you all for your fantastic participation.
• If you have any questions about the fundraiser, please email Collette Tucker, at  cooltuck7@gmail.com.
• All Prizes will be available for pickup at the office.
• To reach our fundraising goal, we are asking that all students sell at least 2 cases of chocolate each and of course we welcome and encourage more. All students that sell 1 case of chocolate will be eligible to participate in a Davis tailgate for the Scioto homecoming game- during school hours on September 18 ^th !! There will be food trucks, Kona Ice, visits from Scioto football players, cheerleaders and band. Your student doesn’t want to miss out on this unique opportunity.
• We have reminded the students, sell to close neighbors, friends and family, have mom and dad take a box to work, but please no selling to strangers!

The PTO at Davis would like to welcome back the teachers & staff with a luncheon onAugust 24th, as they prepare for the students to arrive!

We will be providing a variety of sandwiches from McAlister’s Deli, but are in need of other items to round out the meal.  Please take a look at the ways you could donate or volunteer your time by clicking on the Sign Up Genius link below:

The school office is open to accept donations daily.  If you are providing something that needs to be refrigerated, please deliver to the school office on the morning of the 24th, no later than 10:00 a.m.

Your help is very much appreciated as a kick-off to a great upcoming school year!
